Summer Bishil is an American actress, best known for her performance as Margo Hanson on the Syfy Fantasy drama The Magicians (2015-present). In the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played 13-year-old Lebanese American young girl Jasira experiencing a turbulent living situation in the context of the U.S. invading Iraq during the Gulf War. The film was picked by Variety to be one of their 10 actors to watch. In 2009, she was the powerful Taslima in Crossing Over. She was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for the film. Alongside Lucky 7, she has appeared on Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake as well as in a variety of television guest parts.
